The Medical Office at Kapolei is equipped with the most innovative and advanced health care technology designed to enhance the patient’s care experience. The new facility brings the convenience of urgent care, laboratory, pharmacy, and the latest technologies under one roof. With more than 30 exam rooms, 28 provider offices and 3 imaging rooms, the facility has improved access to health care for the approximately 70,000 Kaiser Permanente members in West Oahu
Completed in early 2021, the new 40,000-square-foot Kaiser Permanente facility is more than 3 times larger than the previous Kapolei Clinic and has made health services more accessible to members in the growing West Oahu community.
Pan-Pacific provided design-assist mechanical, plumbing and fire protection services for the project, which utilized BIM coordination in conjunction with a DIRTT wall system. The project also included four roof top packaged DX air handling units with variable air volume terminal units throughout the facility. Various DX systems provided dedicated cooling for the IT server rooms and other critical loads.
