Kaiser Permanente San Jose
San Jose, CA
The new all-electric hospital under construction in San Jose will significantly expand regional healthcare capacity, doubling the size of the existing facility with a total of 303 beds. The project includes major investments in advanced patient care technology, such as three magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines, three computed tomography (CT) scanners, a nuclear imaging system, two operating rooms equipped for minimally invasive robotic surgeries, and five cardiac catheterization labs.
The hospital will feature a 24-bed intensive care unit, a birthing center with 51 rooms, and a 12-bed neonatal intensive care unit. Additional components include a 60-bay emergency department, a 7,000-square-foot clinical laboratory, a 4,000-square-foot pathology lab, and a dedicated central utility plant to support hospital operations.
Pan-Pacific Mechanical is responsible for the plumbing scope on this project, contributing to the delivery of a state-of-the-art, fully electric healthcare facility designed to meet the evolving needs of the community.
