UC Berkeley Academic Seismic Replacement Building

Berkeley, CA

The Academic Replacement Building will serve as a new hub for undergraduate instruction at the center of the UC Berkeley campus. The 78,000-square-foot facility will provide a centralized home for Letters & Science Advising, featuring meeting rooms, office spaces, and collaborative areas designed to support student engagement and success.

Constructed using mass timber, the building reflects a commitment to sustainability and modern design. It will replace the existing Evans Hall, addressing seismic deficiencies while creating a safer, more efficient, and student-focused environment.
