UCSF 19A Utility Restoration

San Francisco, CA

This facility brings together the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases, the Department of Neurology, and the Keck Foundation Center for Integrative Neuroscience at UCSF. Designed to foster collaboration, the building supports investigators engaged in clinical, translational, and basic research focused on advancing treatments and cures for diseases of the nervous system.

A central open-air atrium creates strong visual connectivity throughout the building while incorporating natural ventilation and daylighting strategies to enhance energy efficiency. The LEED Gold-certified facility includes wet and dry bench laboratories, a vivarium, clinical research areas, an imaging center, staff offices, meeting rooms, and an auditorium.

Pan-Pacific Mechanical is responsible for the plumbing restoration scope on this project, supporting the continued performance and reliability of critical building systems within this advanced research environment.
